So i got a citation for sitting in my car alone at a view spot and i called to ask questions about it and they ended up sending my call to a deputy who i brought up how a deputy drove by the same place with now 6 cars doing the same thing i was doing. He then told me that’s how the world works. And i don’t want to talk all bad about the department because i believe there are nice officers that work there and i have had experience with and they’ve usually been nice but the lack of knowledge kinda of concerns me

If I could give it negative stars I would, this is the worst police department ever. They are always giving me false information ,wasting my time and expect me not to get irritated after I take time off work to visit. They swear they care about there community and helping out but in reality all they care about is money. Its because of departments like this that I no longer trust or respect law enforcement

There was a man and woman with a baby arguing outside of my apartment around 11pm. After half an hour of waiting for them to stop, I called the SCPD. I wasn’t even off the phone with the SCPD explaining my complaint when one of their cars pulled up and stopped the arguing. 3 more cars pulled up within a minute after the first. Wonderful response time, and very thorough searching skills, made this single mom feel safe in this town . Thank you!
