Santa Cruz Bicycles was founded in 1993 in a space the size of a single car garage in the Seabright Cannery, in Santa Cruz California. Our first bike, the Tazmon, was a single pivot dual suspension bike that rattled established sensibilities and helped define our then- ethos of simply advanced. That bike was the cornerstone for a brand that was founded on the notion of doing things our own way in order to build the best. We have been rattling sensibilities ever since. A MANIFESTATION NOT A MANIFESTO We build simply advanced bikes of such high quality that it results in No Missed Rides; as a business we believe bicycles are a force for good, and the people who ride our bikes share our obsession.

As with most manufacturers sometimes, though unfortunate, product recalls are required. My bicycle of which I purchased directly from a authorize Santa Cruz retailer was recalled.I follow the process as directed by the manufacture. However during the transportation of my bicycle to the third-party who was doing the inspections there was multiple things damaged on my bicycle and things that were initially installed on my bike that were not returned when my bike came back to the bike shop.The local bike shop did their best to make it right but I felt it was important that I communicated my frustrations to Santa Cruz directly and I did that via email.Today I received a personal phone call from Miguel at Santa Cruz who not only apologized but is replacing all the parts that were missing or damaged on my bicycleMiguel just made me a Santa Cruz customer for life!It’s one thing for a company to make a mistake and offer a solution it’s another thing for someone form that company to take time out of their day and call an individual customer directly and make it right.I’m a Happy Customer and would highly recommend Santa Cruz

Beautiful show room with the latest and greatest bikes on display. The factory tour is a cool look behind the scenes at the assembly of the bikes. I highly recommend doing a factory demo – the trails are a short ride from the showroom and offer a great test for the bikes.

Been a Loyal Santa Cruz Customer for over 20 Years, and had a very positive service experience recently.Recently acquired a carbon Bronson, and six weeks in (about 55 rides) the top tube developed a crack. My local bike shop engaged SC to get a replacement…. However no carbon frames available, likely not until next year.The found me an aluminum carbon frame and got it expedited to Canada and added some shwag to make up for it. Wish I had a carbon frame but given all the limitation this was a good service forward result.My loyalty paid off.My local bike shop (Oak Bay Bikes) however did not ….. they said that will take 8 days to put the new frame on the old compoents (despite being their customer for 19 years) … so found a new local bike shop – always loyal to SC, they rawk.
