I have enjoyed talking with the owners every time I walk in. They are friendly and helpful, thoughtful and reasonable people. When I was interested in playing a few of their instruments, they didn’t hesitate to let me, finding all of the necessary parts.I never would have walked in if it wasn’t for the Christmas Wheel of Fortune sign. I went in to give it a spin most days over the course of two weeks or so, and accrued enough gift cards to buy this excellent travel-sized soprano ukulele entirely with the value of the gift cards. Their friendliness and generosity definitely bought lots of goodwill from me. I’m betting there are more in the community like me who feel the same.Keep up the great work, guys!

Really wish I lived closer to the Haight, I would love to stop by Amoeba every few days to browse all the recently acquired LP’s and bargain records. For now, every couple weeks will have to do.
