I recently came here to try and get a parking permit from the city since my residence no longer has space for an additional car.So in total, my garage can fit one car, and the other two cars go in the driveway. City hall denied my application and they told me I can make space in my garage for another car. It’s impossible for me to fit another car in there because the cabinets are attached to the wall. I even printed out a photo showing how there was space for one car. When the man at the desk was explaining why my application was being denied, this woman at the desk behind him comes over and interrupts. I did not want or need her input, but I guess I got it anyways. The other gentleman next to this man tried to cut in and approve my parking permit, but was overruled by his two senior coworkers. In the end, my application got denied.Don’t even bother trying to get a parking permit. It’s so much of a hassle. They require information on every vehicle of the residence, copies of the registration for EVERY car, and a photo showing proof that you need a parking permit. And then once you provide the proof, they will still reject you. Even when another employee says that you qualify for a parking permit, their supervisor will ignore them and just reject you.Honestly, 10 years ago, they would let anyone buy a parking permit as long as they paid the price. Our family got one back then and they didn’t give us any trouble for it.

One of the worst experiences I’ve had with the City. Mr. Vardanyan conducted an inspection at my apartment. He was rude, he was yelling inside the courtyard of our apartment community, and he spit in our entry way. He came in with little regard for myself and for those around him. Extremely unprofessional and socially inept.

People here will give you wrong message, attitude, discrimination ,and not being helpful for 90% of time.Parking permit? Don’t even try. You’ll have to pay 3-4 dollars per night if you want to park on the street.Trying to do a renovation? They always have their way of making you do something that is supposed to be city’s work. This place is careless.
