their food is good and its nice that they give you a place to stay when you need. but the only issue i have here is that they kick you out @ 7 am on weekends and 6 am during the week. NOT only they make you carry your stuff with you. also some of the staff are very demanding. they don’t allow others to help others in need. if someone offers a ride they wont allow that. if you have an issue with someone else. they either write you up or make you leave. NOT them. but all in all its not so bad. i could use the exorcise.

PLEASE READ OUR EXPERIENCE BEFORE YOU GO TO THIS PLACEI really wish there was a 0 star option. This place is very two-faced, I would not recommend this place to my worst enemies let alone people who are dear to me. My best friend is going through a very tough time and had to look for a place to be while she gets back on her feet, this place promised her a program for 56 days which seemed like a miracle for her in this rough patch she’s going through. They told her all she had to do is show up between 5-6pm and take a drug test which was no problem at all. We arrived at 5:50pm and they were closed apparently till 6:15 where they finally opened their doors to take people in. She was terrified, this is her first time going to a shelter, and I walked her in to reassure her everything was going to be alright. They stopped me in the lobby saying I was not allowed in unless I was staying, which is understandable for privacy reasons I guess. An older female employee saw her crying and came to comfort her reassuring her it’s not that bad there, she promised me she would be taken care of and took my number in case anything happened since one of their rules is all phones are confiscated every night and would be returned in the morning. I left feeling hopeful and convinced that she would be safe and taken care of. That happened yesterday. This morning I get at phone call at 5:30am from her asking if I can pick her up because that place WAS NOT what it was lead out to be. She expressed they woke everyone up at 5am and told everyone to leave immediately. One of their rules, I learned, said they wake everyone up at 7am not 5 first off. She asked them about the program they promised her and told her flat out no they can only take her for that night. Also, when she was going to get her phone she saw that one of the employees was trying to go through her phone as well as other confiscated phones! She witnessed her trying to figure out her password till the maximum number of tries were reached and locked her out. My friend also confided to me that as soon as I left yesterday, the female employee that I spoke to took her aside and rudely told her she had to grow the f*** up and stop crying because there are kids there as well. My friend, being the shy woman she is, apologized but asked her if she can not be so rude with her. The employee then told her no because her situation is “not a crisis”… what in the sweet Jesus??!! How freakin insensitive!!!!I would not recommend this place to ANYONE at all, especially if the person is someone you care for. This place had the audacity to smile in my face n talk sweetly to me with the intention to mistreat my best friend as soon as I left. I hope karma gets to them very soon.
