Salt & Time Butcher Shop and Restaurant is a fun and delicious spot in East Austin. The meats come from different Texas ranches and you know you’re getting the freshest ingredients. The whole setup with the butcher shop and grocery store with their to-go restaurant food is working for Salt & Time; they are staying busy. The restaurant is open for lunch where you can sit in the outdoor patio and are looking to open more seating and expand their menu in the next few weeks. I had read the reviews about the Butcher’s Burger so I had to give it a try with the side of beef fat fries. The burger is so flavorful and each is unique as they have daily steak trimmings mixed in. You never know what other gourmet meats have been added. I got my burger with bacon which was a great idea, if I say so myself. The next item on my list is either a steak or the pasta and some of the sandwiches also look quite good. Oh and the cookies are spectacular! Thanks Salt & Time for the wonderful evening. You have been on my must-try list for quite some time and have now moved over to the I’ll be back list. 🙂

This was my first time here. The food was delicious. The waitstaff were attentive. I wish they had a bar seating area but other than that I had a great experience. I highly recommend this place

Top of the line. Excellent full service, Farm to Table Butcher shop, Salmuria, plus Restaurant with Beer & Wine. The only place I could find Leaf fat, Suit, Schmaltz & Tallow for my home made recipes like Texas Chili & Native Pemmican.Excellent place. Order online for curbside pick-up.Ok now I’m getting hungry.
