That s location is always extremely clean. All the groceries are stocked in places that actually make sense and makes finding what you need easy. This location also had a Starbucks inside it. If you want to get a cold sandwich from the deli you can pay with food stamps. You can also pay with food stamps at the Starbucks here! The customer service is great and they make you feel like a valued customer. This is a great place to shop if you want to find value and be treated with respect as a customer.

Sacramento’s largest Safeway, this location offers a selection that most others cannot. It’s located near a lot of other shops in the R Street Market and Ice Blocks area, making it supremely convenient if you’re in a rush. Many of the parking spots have been converted to employee-only, so good luck finding a spot during peak times.

This Safeway is pretty big but the parking lot is pretty small. Parking can be an issue on weekends in the middle of the day. The selection is good and I rarely have an issue with items being out of stock. Every so often a security guard has to escort someone out of the store but for the most part I feel safe. Oh, and the man at the meat department was really helpful.
