My visit to this Safeway was mostly awesome. They had what I wanted for dry goods. And the people behind the sushi counter made a special order for me as well and that was at a decent price. The other cool thing about this location is the pharmacy inside this Safeway is offering all three kinds of covid-19 vaccine types. Pfizer, moderna, and Johnson & Johnson. Vaccine is given on a specific day. So you have to schedule your vaccination in advance.The one black spot was the security guard standing at the front of the store. The security guard was totally addicted to chewing tobacco. When I entered the store and when I exited the store both times he was standing at the front of the store spitting in his cup with his mask off. No mask would be one thing. But spitting in his cup while holding the cup over some of the food goods stacked at the front of the store was just gross. And in any case that security guard should have been chewing his tobacco on break time. Not during work. His spitting action, and there was more than one spitting action each time I passed them, had surely contributed to his being distracted and not performing the security job for which he was hired. In case you’re wondering this guy was working on Sunday, May 30th 2021 in the morning around 09:54 a.m. I wonder what his employers have to say about his chewing tobacco while working. Doesn’t look good for the security company. Doesn’t look good for Safeway and Albertsons. And certainly doesn’t look good for the security guard.

The location’s great. And product selection’s fab. Be sure to check what you need to get the customer parking validated. Someone tried giving my mom poop about how there’s a limit on the valid time covered and said it was for customers. Oh, hello. Try looking at the cameras.

Great South Beach grocery option. They have everything you need and more than you were expecting. Lots of grab and go options, sushi, hot food, deli counter, and even a pharmacy. Plenty of fresh produce and natural foods options too. Checkout lines are a bit slow on a busy evening so plan ahead. Don’t forget to validate your parking at checkout.
