I’ve been going to sabatino’s for probably over 30 years. It stayed mostly open during the pandemic because it has a great patio. On the two occasions I’ve been there in the last 3 or 4 months both of that issues. The first one was we ordered pizzas it got there to pick them up and not only were they not ready and we had to wait about 20 minutes but when they delivered the pizzas they said they were one pizza short because they ran out of ingredients. My question is why didn’t they come out and talk with me and see when we wanted to replace it with instead of making us wait. The second time was this visit a few days ago the patio was only about half full and yet it took 14 minutes for them to make an appearance and it was basically the waiter coming up and what do you want? I said how about we start with the water and I’ll go through the menu. He finally got me the water and a staff member brought me some bread and butter. It’s just that I’ve never had to wait 15 minutes for that first initial greeting especially when they were only half full and then had an attitude with the waiter it was just not enjoyable. I hope that whatever issues they were having that day are resolved.

My husband really liked his pizza. Their red sauce is delicious, mostly Cecilian style of Italian food. But I wouldn’t order any Scampi with soaked up white/ basil sauce, looked like a soup and tasteless. Even the nice owner thought it should’ve been with red sauce. But, they were nice enough to take it off the bill.
