Went for a family birthday party. The space is wonderful, open and socially distanced but retaining the buildings old world charm.We sat in the upstairs space, perfect for family events. The food was enjoyable, drinks were solid, and service was commendable.

Lunch with my kids. In 48 years of life and eating out all over the world I’ve never had worse service than today, April 17, 2021. We arrived and were seated in the bar promptly by a very lovely and friendly lady. That was the end of it. More than 10 minutes before the bartender asked what we wanted to drink and we ordered an appetizer and lunch at the same time. Drinks were more than 5 minutes. 20 minutes later the appetizers came out. All of our drinks were empty for at least 30 minutes. After one hour of not receiving our food and the horrible bartender chatting with her friends in the booth behind us and not even looking to see our empty glasses were lined up on the edge of the table we got up and left. We never got our food. Talked to the very nice lady at the hostess stand and offered to pay for the appetizer and drinks. She declined my offer and apologized. Never ever will I step foot anywhere near Rye Grill and Bar.
