I sent them two pairs of Oakley frames. One of the frames was optical, the other one was sunglasses. The optical pair was done well, no complaints. However, one of the customer reps, Mitch G, emailed me explaining the sunglasses would take longer because they were Oakleys. I told him it wouldn’t be a problem and thanked him for reaching out to me. Nearly two weeks went by and I finally got my sunglasses back. The way the lenses were cut and fitted into my frames was laughable. There were literally gaps between the lenses and the frame, and the lenses were barely intact to the frames. IT LOOKED BAD. It was totally ridiculous to perform that type of work and expect any customer to be satisfied. I reached out to Mitch G, and he really tried to convince me that my sunglasses looked fine and Oakley charges way more than Rx-able. No, my sunglasses do not look fine, and Oakley’s high cost does not justify Rx-able’s poor work. Absolutely zero accountability, and horrible quality control. You can try your luck with them, I gave it a shot and was very disappointed.

I am so happy with my new glasses. At first, I was sort of hesitant in getting my lenses and frames from two separate locations. I always used to get everything done in one place. However, I found that when you did that, it was easier to get price gouged by either the lens making or the frame selection part of the transaction. Opticians are experts in ‘saving’ you money in one part and gouging you in the other. I decided to take my reasonably-priced frames to Rx-Able and was pleasantly surprised with the ease by which I was able to purchase and order my hi-prescription lenses online for my own frames. I was impressed with Mitch’s customer-friendly approach and his willingness to explain some of the techniques he employs to ensure a proper fitting for my frames. I see Rx-Able as a trustworthy, price-competitive and quality-driven establishment worthy enough to recommend to my friends or anyone wishing to purchase lenses. Thumbs Up for Mitch and Rx-Able !
