I was interested in a piece available at this gallery, the owner made an offer to which I counter offered, only to have him RAISE the price of his original offer under the pretext that the artist didn’t want to sell it at the offered price. This is HORRIBLE business practice and of questionable legality. I would not recommend this gallery to anyone. The owner was MOST rude and catty about the whole thing. Stay away.
