Our family visited Roseville Numismatics recently for a school-at-home field trip after our students had been studying coins and counting money for a few weeks. The staff were very friendly and happy to show the children coins of different ages, materials, and countries of origin, as well as some silver bars and materials and references for evaluating precious metals. Each child was even sent home with a special gift to start his or her own coin collection! We were impressed with the knowledge shared, as well the staff’s generosity. They quote pricing for scrap silver by the gram and not the troy ounce. Many people believe they are getting a good deal/ fair price for their silver. There is a dealer in Fair Oaks that pays top dollar and about 20% more for scrap silver and gold than Roseville Numismatic.
