We need school busses !!! Cannot afford to pay 160 dollars each month for my kids to get to school using the rta ! Something is really wrong with the district !!

In 1979 I began my adult working life with RUSD. It was a fairly good start for a young person. At that time the District was basically fair and had some real integrity; unlike today’s version and interpretation. After a number of years with this school district I continued on and worked for two other local public school districts as well. My tenure was successful with all three employers. Was hired by Riverside Unified School District again in 2015 which turned out to be a most heartbreaking and disastrous experience for me.After applying and successfully being accepted as eligible for reemployment following a full reference check and a through background search or investigation.I accepted an offer of employment, following my first interview, which was at Mark Twain Elementary School. Later I would wish that I had declined that proposal.Working at this school proved to be dispiriting and quite demoralizing. The principal was a diminutive woman named Debbie Aussman-Haskins, aka Mrs. Auha to most students.Aussman-Haskins and her head custodian Silvia Lin proved to be two of the most TWISTED and corrupt individuals that I’ve had the misfortune of having to be affiliated with. Lin was deceitful, duplicitous, and two-faced, while Aussman-Haskins was extremely spurious, unpleasant, peevish, annoying, and offensive to me.This school district blindly accepted and concurred with Aussman-Haskins’ decision to sack me from my job. Yes, I was terminated with a great degree of bias and prejudice.Never did I do anything immoral, illegal, or dangerous. I always did my job and followed instructions. Got along well with others, was prompt, never tardy, always present and prepared, ready, willing, able and accepting of all of my work assignments. Never did I take a single day off sick. Perhaps it was the one day that I did take off for personal business?Still this pompous administrator saw it in her best interests to end my tenure with the school district – PERMANENTLY. Seeing as I wasn’t allowed to get past the probationary period of a new hire. This abhorrent, established, practice may have been legal but it sure wasn’t moral, decent, or ethical.Riverside Unified School District’s policies and procedures for it’s employees were not fair or equitable to me. They failed me considerably, helping to make things very complicated in my life at the time.
