Beautiful views of Mt. Beacon. Lots of families, the murals on the train track bridge are fantastic. It’s been a while since I’ve been down there, and it’s truly a gem of Newburgh. Nice during the day… too busy at night for me.

Newburgh is a town in transistion and hopefully keeps getting better. The marina has numerous good restaurants right next to it. However not much retail. The marina itself has plenty of dockage for big boats but doesn’t power to support 100amp. If you only need 30amp you will be fine. The current can be strong and a little rolly from passing boats, barges or ships. The marina has pump out, shower facilities, but no laundry or fuel.

I have a few thing to share about this marina that I wished I knew before I booked there . The marina has a few restaurants within a few hundred feet. That is what earned it an additional star. The man who “ greeted “ us couldn’t have been less friendly orHelpful . They placed us on an outside dock which gave us no protection from wake from passing boats or the tide. This was without a doubt the worst night of sleep we had all summer. The marina seems to attract a young partying crowd. If this is what you are looking for you might enjoy this marina. We will be skipping this marina on our next trip up the Hudson
