Incredibly helpful and friendly staff… Even when the members-sale is going on and it’s 20% off everything in the store, the staff are still calm and patient and generally awesome to interact with. They couldn’t find something in stock that should’ve been so they ordered it for me online and shipped it 1-day priority shipping for free as a way of apologizing for the inconvenience. This is why we’re members and always try to shop local first.

My husband love the outdoor product lineup of REI so much and we did lots of shopping before quarantine. We placed an online order and selected curbside pick-up at this location.The decor is wide-spaced, bright and sporty. The shopping experience there was pretty cozy and we would like to stay longer.The customer service was super friendly, helpful and supported the pick-up quickly. The return policy is also super great that we can return within one year if we are not satisfied with their products.We bought 2 sets of Co-op Outward Low Lawn Chair which is a collaboration with West Elm. The chairs are in great quality with reasonable price.

Wow, what an experience!I have a high end bicycle and it was never tuned up since I purchased it 3 years ago. I called several bike shops in NYC area and decided to give it a try to REI Carle Place. Ron, Nick and everyone else gave their 100% in the bike service area for tune up, drive-train cleaning with a very reasonable rate and offered me a few small extras without a charge. Now, I have a brand new bike again and very satisfied. They got me as a lifetime customer.
