The staff is real nice-But I bought boots and got to put them on 3 times, once in the store, once before work, and once the next day.Stitches already failing on these Irish Setter boots after one dayStore can’t do anything but send them out for repair and that leaves me without steel toes for work.I feel like red wing should be better quality and at least stand by their product after a one day failure.These boots are defective and now I have to chase down a solution, last thing I need to spend time on….

I went in for some work boots. Right away I noticed the difference in costumer service between the sunny side red wings location and this Yonkers one. In sunny side I was greeted right away and asked what I needed. When I went into the Yonkers location, the employee didn’t hide the fact that they were annoyed to attend us. We asked questions and they didn’t have the answers to it. Speaking to us in a condescending way. Needless to say, if you are not of the same race as the employee you get treated apathetically.

Dorothy and Stephanie made my Redwing experience a good once again. I used to only go to this store until I moved to NYC. After multiple bad experiences in the NYC, it is such a welcoming experience in Yonkers. They helped me swap out shoes to ones that were sized properly. Will continue going back to Yonkers for service and new boots / shoes.
