Chicken was very moist but this place is very overpriced and the music too loud.

I have wanted to visited the famed Red Rooster in Harlem for over three years and the wait was well worth it! The atmosphere displays the best of Harlem and the African American culture. The location is two story with seating on lower level, main level and outdoors. On our visit we were treated to a live band, playing the best in Jazz and other genres. Our service was exceptional which was attentive but not overly so. We had the yardbird tower which was more than enough food for three with enough chicken left to fill three containers. The drinks match the food and the cornbread was everything! On my next visit to NY, Red Rooster will be included.

After a long day of hard appointments in Harlem, I needed a great meal and pampering. Had my heart set on going to Sylvia’s. When I got there soaking wet, tired and hungry I was told they were closed for indoor dining! I was annoyed because I called and that was not mentioned!! Luckily, across the Street I saw The RED ROOSTER…and I was welcomed as if I were a VIP. The service, accommodations and food were WONDERFUL! They could not have been more servile. As Arnold said: I’ll be back!!! Thank you RED ROOSTER Staff for the rescue. Peace, J

Good concept drinks and good service. Ordered the Chicken n waffles entree. Beautiful plating. However there were red parts of the interior portions of a piece of chicken. So I basically had to eat around this piece of chicken. Prior to seeing this portion if the chicken, the edible area were great. This is my third chicken issue I have had in three separate visits over the years. Manager said this redness was part of the chicken and normal.
