Excellent selection of vinyl.

It’s def a decent shop with some good selection, both original and reissue, but the owner is prickly… So, I went in late one afternoon before closing… I was totally polite and introduced myself, but he treated me like I was a teenager about to steal something and rudely asked me to check my bag, then cranked up the music and acted all cranky when I asked him about where to find a specific artist, and then he rushed me out the door before I had a chance to REALLY browse… Honestly, I collect records. I would have spent four times as more than the $50 bucks I gave him that day (albeit I thought the prices were fair for the original pressings that I bought) if he had shown just an once of kindness. What’s up with the attitude???

Not friendly. Nice shop, great selection, poor customer service…

It’s a Great store and has knowledgable staff. If they don’t have it they can order it. Red Devil Records is a beacon for anyone that loves vinyl and even CDs. As for the prices, they are as expected for Marin. I’m sure you can find vinyl for less but you would have to travel over an hour and pay some tolls. Yeah, you can get vinyl online but you won’t get the same experience nor will you get the guy at the counter telling you to turn off your iPhone XX when you are trying to do some tik tok video or a live cast to the entire world on your discovery of an actual brick and mortar record store. This place is a time machine.
