They have a decent selection of eyeglasses for kids and are very convenient.

Optician said that eyeglass quality is the same but at half the price.

Make sure the head doctor and head assistant care for you directly. Keep your wits.Place is out to lunch from my experience. They’re a quick visit during the week, that’s a positive. Wish things played out better. My orders for high-end glasses and contacts sat for weeks without being ordered…got them in a months time only after pressing each day after catching on to the mishap. They simply never put in the order.Must note, I got an eye infection from the single demo contact lens they gave me at time of visit….they never ordered the other as promised or followed up. Called day of infection and they referred me to a doctor that was OOO…and they never followed up to see how it played out…I lived, after an awful 4 days…first time ever that’s happened mind you. When they finally did obtain demo contacts and I picked them up, they were years expired and unwearable.I have no tolerance for routine stuff like placing orders I could just do online for less anymore.Over-all unpleasant experience, but wish them well in later efforts to right the situation for locals who go out of their way to bring business.

I needed to buy my first pair of prescriptive lenses and had gone to 3 different optician stores . I chose Raymond Opticians in Tarrytown because of the customer service I received from Ann. She understood my need for prescriptive lenses made buying them more expensive than I was comfortable with. She helped me find a frame that fit me, that I looked good in and was affordable enough that the entire purchase was somewhat reasonable for me. I greatly appreciated her customer service and, from what I found out later, her experience level. She suggested that I use their optician in the future, which I will!

Raymond Opticians don’t stand behind anything they sell. Over the past decade we have used them a number of times and anytime there is a problem they talk in circles and refuse to help. Based on a independent Opthalmologist suggestion we use Costco optical department. Optician said that eyeglass quality is the same but at half the price. We have found that to be true. And Costco Optical stand behind their product, no questions asked.
