I come here about once or twice a year. This outfitter is legit! The staff are very friendly and knowledgeable. While I was still on the military, I was always able to find the gear I needed, and they would order items that weren’t in stock. Now that I’m retired, I go here to get outdoor items or stuff for camping. I also go here to help my son’s pick out gear, as my three oldest are now in the Army.I went there today to let my son pick out a birthday/welcome to the Army gift. We had a great time talking with the owner about gear and Army stories. My youngest son bought an MRE, and after talking to him about the hiking and stuff, he threw in a free map of the area we live and told us about some cool camping and fishing spots.I bought my oldest son an assault pack and some pouches, and I was very happy with the price. The bag and the extra pouches were 80 bucks, and it was a brand I trust.

If you’re looking for outdoor survival gear, EMT gear, police gear, that sort of thing, this is a great local store. Chris is friendly, knowledgeable, and helpful. His prices aren’t quite reasonable, sometimes even cheaper than Amazon. His selection is appropriate given the size of his store. I stopped in about once a month just to see what’s new and I’ve never disappointed.
