I have been shopping from Rachel Ashwell Shabby Chic dor over fifteen years!I had a wonderful experience with Rachel herself in SoHo years ago. I have purchased easily over 15000.00 with the company and most recently purchased a couch online . I worked with Patti at the Santa Monica location , she was able to assist me with my requests but that was basically it. She never offered mentioned that the sofa shown in the online picture was not the only size. I assumed there was just one size and she ordered me the smallest size! How could you not ask which size? When you know I comes in three sizes?? So now I basically have a 4500 love seat that is too short!The only solution is to send the clinch back at my cost $500.00, pay a restocking fee of 20 percent and then be offered a credit if and when my couch sells!!! Such a disappointing solution for a long term client that was basically sold something without really knowing what she way buying!! So buyers beware, ask every single question because the people at the Shabby Chic store are “ Too Busy” to help you if you call over the phone and provide them with an EASY 5000 sale!!I’m so sad to say I will never ever buy form the company again!
