In my opinion, they have the most consistent high-quality produce in town! Bell Peppers, Zucchini, Habaneros, Squash, Mushrooms, Berries… They’re all beautiful, every week. The seafood and meat department will take special orders and bring in, for instance, fresh never frozen Atlantic Swordfish filets. If you’re looking for a particular cut of lamb, and there isn’t any on the shelf, you can tell them at the butcher’s window, and Frank or one of his team will have it custom cut & packaged for you in ten minutes. I even forgot about mine once, and he came all the way up front to make sure I didn’t check out without it & kick myself when I got home! Everyone, from the greeters up front, to the cashiers, the various service areas (deli, bakery, produce) to the folks stocking shelves… even the folks that come out to take your cart for you, so you don’t have to walk it back yourself. They’re all super helpful and friendly. I know sometimes there will be a sale somewhere else, and a few things may be cheaper, but I’m sticking with these guys at Publix for their service and consistency.
