IF YOU VALUE YOUR BELONGINGS, DON’T TRUST PUBLIC STORAGEI just found out all of my guitars were stolen from: 2nd floor unit at PUBLIC STORAGE 16452 Construction Cir S, IRVINE, CA 92606.I am a musician that had been sidelined due to covid and had to move here from Texas to help my elderly parents who are struggling due to this terrible pandemic. They stole all of guitars and music gear, worth over $20,000. They even stole my clothes and computer peripherals. It took me 10 years of hard work to buy these…On Sunday the front doors stay open… anyone can just follow a tenant in. There’s virtually no security. No gate. Nothing.They did not inform any of the tenants that the there were critical security issues. They refused to even prorate my month. The customer service individual at corporate had 0% empathy and did nothing to help.I am at a total loss. those guitars were all i had… i’m crushed. i think public storage is well aware of their own negligence and I am consulting my attorney for any and all legal remedy.ALSO – google search PUBLIC STORAGE IRVINE ROBBERY and you will find that multiple locations have been robbed in the last week .. LITERALLY there’s a reddit thread. hundreds of thousands of dollars of stuff is being stolen from Public Storage they refuse to acknowledge it or assist anybody.**to the guy that jacked me…. you may be good at theft, but you will never be able to make those guitars sing like I did*UPDATE: the insurance I purchased through public storage denied my claim. This entire company has a mountain of documented unethical business practices and i strongly recommend getting your own insurance… or better yet, dont trust public storage or its affiliates and do not conduct business with them. Hundreds. If not thousands of testimonials are all over the internet.

I loved how easy it was to rent a unit, move in, and even the move out process was extremely easy. They provide you with an app that you use for access into the building, but it also allows you to pay your bill, get support, etc. And there are usually always carts available to move things in and out of your unit. Also, the guys at the front desk are super friendly and helpful. They make you feel welcome and are very positive with great vibes. Highly recommend this public storage!
