Prim’s Carmel General Store is the best community store in all of the Monterey Peninsula. Their selection is ever-changing and growing to showcase local brands, unique furnishings and general goods all around. The staff is so friendly and helpful for everything you need. I love working within their furniture section for custom pieces (at amazing prices I couldn’t find anywhere else!) and it’s so refreshing finding a place where I can see and feel multiple products across multiple departments before buying — something you just can’t get anymore with the rise of online shopping. This might sound too good to be true but honestly, if you need anything at all, Prim’s Carmel is the place to go. If they don’t have it in stock, they order it for you, promptly. This is how shopping should be.
