I just tried to make a purchase there. They were out of the lumber that I needed — quarter inch plywood. I asked for a price check to see if I needed to wait for the new lumber to come in or if I should pay for a more expensive substitute. The cashier instead kept trying to upsale me and doing a who’s on first sort of verbal sparring match with me. I gave up and tried the other cashier who referred me back to the first cashier and walked away. They don’t listen.It’s a real shame because I absolutely love the product and the general reliability of the store — something that is a rare find these days. I’m just sick of dealing with people who won’t listen.I now know where all the other lumber yards are in Amarillo. Frustrating.
