In the past I have used Preferred glass for two showers and glass cupboards…the install and the look has been fabulous.This time we decided to replace windows in our home. Preferred is a Milgard rep and Chris is their expert and a great guy. He came to our home and accepted all our custom requests with a very reasonable quote. We went to 3 different companies and by far, Preferred was the best price and was willing to honor all our special requests. All the staff are great and very respectful.The install had its difficulties but they did not give up and even called in Milgard for an extra inspection. We also had a problem with one window that Alan the owner, replaced at no charge.I would highly recommend Preferred for your window replacement & glass needs.

They were very professional, and the installers did a beautiful job with our new windows. They even found a few defects in the windows before installing them, and made sure that they got reordered.

Horrible experience. Placed a lien on a family member’s house… because they wrote down the wrong phone number and didn’t bother to send a paper bill.In November 2020, a family member used Preferred Glass for a small (<$400) job. My family was so happy with the work that they referred 3 neighbors to the company. Preferred was not finished with the repairs and had to wait until they received the replacement parts in early 2021. My family called for an update in the last week of January 2021 since Preferred had not yet scheduled a time to finish the project. Only to find out that Preferred said that they wouldn't complete the project until the bill AND LIEN was resolved. Oh, and by the way, they were seeking foreclosure proceedings hearing with the city by the end of the month.My family went in to Preferred Glass and Windows. Their team said that they hadn't sent a bill, but did call many times.... only they had the wrong phone number on file. They apologized profusely and admitted several errors.I will definitely update this review if they make this situation right. My family has been using Preferred Glass for 20 years and hate to see these problems cause by poor administration.
