This store sent me the wrong item and they won’t admit it!I ordered a floral sheet set from potterybarnkids.com, today I received a package sent from this store containing only one changing pad which I didn’t order at all.I called custom service at potterybarnkids.com and the lady there transferred me to a worker at this store location, she said “OK I checked our system and I find that we send the correct item”. I didn’t think she bothered checking at all since it took her like 2 seconds to answer my request.Then the lady from Potterybarnkids.com talked to the store’s manager, the manager said” OK let the customer return the item she received to our store then we can refund her, our store doesn’t have any more floral sheet set so there’s nothing we can do.”No admitting they sent me the wrong item, no apologize, no possible solution ( I live in a different state from their store and how can I return the wrong item in person to their store location? The closest store location is more than 30 minutes drive from my home and that’s the reason I ordered online, and how come I have to be the person responsible for their fault!!!)I was really mad at that time, but I didn’t got a chance to voice my opinion since the manager hung up real quick.The lady from the website custom service was really nice, she felt their rudeness and kept apologizing for the inconvenience they cost me, in the end she helped me find the item I ordered from their system, and sent me a UPS return label for the wrong item.I have been a customer at pottery barn for years, and this is the first bad experience I had from their company.

Alison was incredibly helpful in finding us the dresser model that we were looking for (it was back ordered past my due date and we needed it for our nursery and she made it happen!) the store associates were also amazing when we got there. They had it bubble wrapped and ready to go and went above and beyond and helped my husband load it into the car so I didn’t have to at 6 months pregnant. Such great service overall and can’t recommend more.

I placed my order back in July, it’s December and I’m still waiting for it, every month I receive a new email that the order is delayed once again and it will be another month before it gets ship. Why haven’t I cancelled, well I worked with one of their designers so the room decor was set up & measured according to the pieces I chose, I received part of the order but still MISSING the desk, file cabinets and chair.Customer Service is terrible, their answer for my complain is “so would you like to cancel your order”??
