Bought a completely sealed bag of skewers for the BBQ. Noticed when I got home I already had a bag. Additionally, I forgot to purchase flour. Turned right around and went back. No flour anywhere to be found on the shelf and inquired about returning the skewers. Manager said due to COVID, nothing can be returned. Forget the fact that the package is completely sealed and that I purchased it 15 minutes before. No different than people who pick up an item to look at a label and place it back on the shelf. Does anyone else feel like grocery stores like Ralphs are taking advantage of this situation? They are making record profits, still can’t maintain items on their shelves, charge for bags because they refuse to allow you to bring your own right now, and have a zero tolerance on any return.
