What a beauty! Point Dume has a short easy trail leading to some of the best views of Malibu. It is surreal. It is quite high which makes the wave watching experience even more amazing. I was here for sunset and the views from the cliff where stunning. My favorite part was to catch some of the sea lions surfing on the waves. Don’t forget to bring a jacket as it can get chilly in the evening. There are only a few spots for parking at the entrance of the trail. There are a few other parking lots nearby where the sheriffs keep redirecting people to.

Awestruck by the view!! Do watch out for the high tide that suddenly came and I had to quickly run back through the passageway from one beach to the other. Also saw seals laying by the rocks…just Beautiful

It’s a nice quick hike to see some flowers on the trail and to see the ocean from above! When navigating to Point Dume, it’ll bring you to a place with very limited parking, so we ended up having to go about two long blocks away to park and walk over. I noticed a sheriff was circling around and giving citations to those with expired car registrations. The path itself was easy but sandy at times so I wouldn’t bring a stroller unless you want to drag it around like I had to. I went yesterday and no one was wearing masks except for my family, but nice view nonetheless!
