… necessarily a bad thing. The museum is a bit outdated (see the USSR flag) but it’s cute. The tastings are free and the store is well stocked. Overall a good stop on …

Had a great experience and tour with Jenny ! I’ve been to the tasting room a few times in the past but have never done the tour. I’m so glad that I did. I now have a greater appreciation for this place thanks to Jenny’s great energy and knowledge about the history of the winery. Also loved the seated tasting. I hope you keep this option moving forward. Well done !

We have been to Pleasant Valley/Great Western Winery many times. We went on small business Saturday to stock up for the holidays and winter. They are doing a great job during Covid. The tables are spaced far apart and our server was so nice. There is now a fee (understandably); however, I would not call it a tasting. You pick five wines/champagne/port and they are large pours. I would call them a full glass. There was four of us and they gave us two plates of cheese, crackers and pepperoni. We go for the champagne – it is delicious and extremely inexpensive. Their gift shop is very nice. They are not doing tours now; however, when they resume, I would highly recommend touring the buildings up on the hill. I can’t say enough good things about their super nice staff and the delicious champagne. Their port is very good also as is their cooking sherry and I buy the vanilla cream sherry to make a bundt cake.

I’ve been there twice and have had great experiences. The concord/Niagara wines are really tasty and make good table wines. The prices are good, and the staff is very friendly.
