My daughter wanted to get rid of her cloth and buy more cloth she asked me to take her to platos closet and she was going to buy cloth there with what she would get from them. This place took all of my daughter’s jeans (11 jeans) name brand and from shein this place only gave her $20 dollars and she bought a Jean there not name brand for $15. So this place buy a Jean from a customer for $2 and they make 10 times more of what they paid for it. This place takes advantage of people. I used to shop here a lot but now that I know what they pay for the cloth and how much the make I will not come back.

Today I sold them thousands worth of clothes and shoes. I got back 99.50 which is to be expected I suppose for a consignment store. However, that wasn’t the issue. I was treated extremely rudely and carelessly by several teenagers working there. They can’t communicate (or choose not to) and after they gave me the wrong change back, I counted it and told them (though I wanted to tell them they should always count money back to a customer, especially large amounts, I kept my mouth shut) Nicely that they gave me the wrong amount. They became rube, one guy was shaking his head at me for pointing it out. The girl put the money on the counter and walked away. She said nothing else to me, just threw my container on the ground and stared to help other people. These young people need to be trained. They need to learn how to handle cash and customer service skills. Shame on the management here.EDIT: Seeing as management/owner refuses to take accountability for their staff and refutes my claims to be true, this problem will likely continue. First, you can clearly see the cashier not counting my money back and the other young Asian guy shaking his head at me. Second, you clearly see on the video the cashier ignoring me and throwing my container on the ground and walking away. I had to ask her if I was good to leave. She never, even after messing up my money, apologized, or counted the money back. In fact she said nothing at all. I’m curious how management knew the exact date and time and my name (which is not Paige) that this occurred. It takes hours to find the exact spot on a video you assume could be my transaction, especially after weeks of this occurring. Its likely that management/owner lied to save face. Again, that will not correct the problem. Staff needs to be better trained, as a business owner myself, I can assure you that the issue is the lack of training.
