We made a simple wash & nail trim appointment for my 5 year old Great Dane mix. When my boyfriend arrived for our appointment, it was refused because whoever was working randomly decided our dog was too old, and offered no further details, follow up, solutions, alternatives, or any further assistance. This decision seemed discriminatory and unfounded. Old dogs need grooming too, and we do not understand why we were refused service. She’s not even old. They just decided she was and asked for no further details. If it was a BS reason just to get rid of us, there were many different ways to do so, including simply saying today was no good and asking us to reschedule. We do not appreciate how we were treated as new customers. I will continue to tell anyone who will listen to not use this service because we were treated poorly.**Edited to add after reply from store: my boyfriend explained that it was her first time being groomed, that she is anxious. He offered to stay inside and help move her and calm her. He was told to wait outside, and she was simply brought outside to him with the explanation that she was too old. Nobody told him that she was anxious and incontinent and uncontrollable. Honesty and clarity would have been appreciated in this matter, we would have helped any way we could or understood more if someone was up front with us about it in the first place. If this was an attempt to be polite about our dog’s behavior, we would have much preferred honesty.

Positive: Professionalism, Quality, Responsiveness Went to Pet’s Boutique for the first time today to take my Goldendoodle to get groomed and they did amazing!! She went in with many matts and came out looking so good! I recommend taking your fur babies here!
