I enjoyed very much to eat the best known steak, maybe, in the world. I had a great experience. I was surprised that they don’t serve kosher salt with it and I think the way they do it- crust from the outside to almost burned is not the best idea (but it was different and special). I give only 4 stars because of that, but would have give 4.7 if I could be more specific!I want to say that Ivan was the best server – so classic! I love this man!Another good thing- if you ask for medium, you get medium! All other places cook too much…

A cash only spot! Went on a Saturday for lunch and the place was packed. We had to wait for our table even with a reservation. But the service was prompt and attentive and we we didn’t have to wait long to receive our food, which did not disappoint. We had the thick cut bacon for appetizer, which is a must-try! The steak for two includes both sirloin and filet minion cuts, and the portion was more than enough for two people. It was cooked perfectly, with a nicely seared surface and tender center. Its seasoning was rather simple, but the natural flavor of the meat really pops. The complimentary bread was a nice touch as it helped to balance out the greasy meat dishes. The generic and cold butter was a bit of a letdown considering the fine-dining setting. We were too stuffed at the end for desserts, but it all looked amazing. Unless you’re coming specifically for the steak, I recommend a smaller serving size to leave room for appetizers and desserts. Overall, the food is pricey, but not outrageous for a high quality steakhouse and it’s worth to experience at least once!

Went to Peter Luger’s last night while stuck at JFK. Ordered bacon and shrimp appetizer along with the steak for 2 and spinach side. Couple beers to go with it. Overall steak was very good. Cooked perfectly and a nice sear to the steak. Not the best steak I have ever had so couldn’t give them a 5. Service was 5 star. Overall ambiance of the place was a little weak but worth the visit.
