I usually shop at the local pet stores but came in to get a flotation device for my dog. I purchased one size and made sure to keep the recipes so I could return in case it didn’t fit. Unfortunately it didn’t fit and I came back an hour later to trade it for a different size. The manager told me that the exchange was denied in their system and could not tell me why. After asking several questions and trying to understand why an item I just purchased couldn’t be exchanged for an identical item at the same price he still couldn’t give me any more information except tell me to go to a website called the Retail Equation which should give me an explanation. It is the weekend so unable to get answers on why from Petco or the website they referenced me to. The manager was no help and rather rude.Hope to get this resolved and definitely never plan on shopping here again due to poor customer service and lack of a return policy.
