My whole family had such fun here. My daughter is four and loves looking at the fish. A wonderful associate named Cheryl noticed her and told her all about the different aquatic animals and their husbandry. Cheryl then took out a chameleon for her to see as well. A trip to Petco wound up being a memory for our whole family, and we had only wanted to take a bike ride to pick up a dog toy. I suppose this is more a review of Cheryl than of Petco, but I hope that she sees this and knows that she made a child’s world a little more magical that day.

Why are the birds not for sale? Covid reasons would be illogical. Birds don’t transmit covid. We touch things off shelves that you stock with your bare hands. Why would a bird be any different? Use gloves for everything in the store if that’s the illogical logic. Tell me there is a REASONABLE answer to this weird situation. Oh and don’t say there is a shortage of parakeets, they lay lots of eggs. Also, you could sell the ones you have until there are none left.
