I didn’t get the name of the young lady that helped me buy my guinea pig – but she was so sweet and helpful and even though she was staying very busy, she gave excellent customer care! The small animals were all in great looking condition and their enclosures were clean and tidy. The guinea pigs had ample hay. Those things are unfortunately a rarity amongst pet stores. I got a female to pair with a blind adult female that I rescued over a year ago. They absolutely LOVE each other and I am over the moon! I had a great experience at the south staples location. The employee Mathew helped us a lot by finding us the prefect shampoo for our dogs dandruff. He was very attentive and nice. He then cashed us out and helped us save some money with the pals rewards. Thanks guys.

I got off the phone with a rude person at petco off of Saratoga. My husband went in maskless , and was told he couldn’t purchase anything without a mask. While he’s being told this. Others are being checked out without a mask. But for some reason they target my husband. He took his business elsewhere. Well I called, spoke to someone who told me that it’s “case by case” for getting checked out when someone is not wearing a mask. Huh? My response, do you ask for vaccine proof? He didn’t answer. I said that I will make a formal complaint for discrimination, and he proceeded to hang up on me. We will be taking our business elsewhere.
