Placed an order for a dog crate online for pick up and when I got there no one had a clue where my order was. I asked if they could just go pull another one and was told I could go do it. So being nice and not an actual paid employee I went back to get one and they didn’t have the size I ordered nor was one in stock. So I loaded the crate a size up went up front and asked the girl to cancel my online order and I’d just purchase this one now. Well my order was canceled but the money was still taken out of my account and 4 days later still waiting on it to be refunded. I’ve called the store several times and nothing but rude employees/service and given numbers to corporate headquarters when it’s an individual owned store. I’ve shopped at this store for over 10 yrs but the staff they have there now is rude/unprofessional and plain lazy. They act like I’m inconveniencing them to ask for help or service. I was all about supporting local small business when the bigger chain store came to town but guess I’ll be going to them from now on. They need to make some serious changes or they’re going to start losing a lot more loyal customers.

Employee review. Competitive prices, vast selections of most supplies and food, but moving SO much product every day means we do have some gaps in our inventory. Could be stronger in live pets, especially reptiles and amphibians, but usually we have a good variety of fish including the only marine selection in this area. Organization and effeciency could be better as special orders are often hit or miss. Customers have mentioned confusing online order and delivery systems. Overall the truly caring and knowledgeable staff make us the areas best choice.
