Not my favorite among the big coffee chains, but staff and ample seating make up for it at this particular cafe. Pre-pandemic, this Peet’s was THE spot in downtown San Carlos in the mornings. They had a lot of indoor seating, plus an outdoor patio with 4-5 tables, and it would be mostly full through lunch time. Now only the outdoor patio is open, though it seems that more indoor seating will slowly be coming back. Staff has always been extremely friendly and professional, and the WiFi is good. One complaint: They need to turn down the AC in the summer – you need a jacket to sit inside on any warm day.

I love Peet’s coffee if you have not tried one you are missing out. But this San Carlos location is one of my ultimate favorites. It is always very clean and has friendly staff! The coffee is so fresh and so strong. I love their workshirts. They are taking opera cautions especially during this time although I miss sitting inside I do not mind just picking up and going home.
