I vacillated between three and four stars. So maybe treat this review as a 3.5 star review.A friend of mine ordered a balloon from Party City online. She set up curbside delivery but lived in Long Island and asked me to pick it up for her. So I obliged.When I arrived and called the number to let them know I was in the curbside pickup location, no one answered. So I parked the car but in an awkward location since their lot section is small and some of the spaces had odd angles.Anyways, I walked in to a really looking setting. I was directed to the pickup counter where after a few moments I was informed that the balloon that was ordered was no longer in stock at that store. I didn’t understand why their system allowed that balloon to be picked. To their credit they offered a larger balloon and refunded the money for the online order.At the end of the day everyone was satisfied but the encounter wasn’t a smooth operation. Beware of big holidays, they seemed almost swamped on Valentine’s day.
