Triple check your floor plan. I had a tour and made it clear I wanted a balcony. Trusting the associate who gave me the tour, I signed the lease for the apartment number he sent me. Upon move in day I realized no balcony. I was told to even have anything done the cost of my unit would go up $300 dollars on top of a $500 dollar transfer fee. Stay classy Parkside! Only reason they’re getting two stars is the area is neat and convenient.

I have spent 3 years at Parkside at Firewheel. It is a well maintained complex, and conveniently located within a Merchant Plaza Mall with many community activities. The area is family friendly, and there are Easter Egg hunts, Christmas Carols, 4th of July fireworks, and live bands all just across the street. The apartments themselves are well furnished and maintained.

Nice apartments. Lots of floor plans to choose from to suit most anyone. Has a pool and gym for those who like to workout . It is close to shopping and that is important to me. Also close to downtown Dallas for all the big concerts when available. I can have a pet if I change my mind and want to get one. Nice grounds make it a pleasant place to live.
