Parker’s Hardware is still a great small town hardware store after all of these years. I have been shopping here since the ’70s, as a kid, when I used to go regularly with my Grandfather. As Merced has grown over the decades (in both good and bad ways), Parker’s Hardware has been one of those positive mainstays that seems to endure the times. They usually have what I need and the service is always friendly. I went to Parker’s Hardware recently to have some keys made. The service was great and the keys were reasonably priced. I would much rather give my hard-earned money to a small business like Parker’s Hardware than to the large Orange or Blue box stores any day. Hopefully Parker’s Hardware will be around for many more years to come. Keep up the great work, folks!

Parker’s has been a part of Merced for as long as I can remember. The staff is friendly and very helpful. The guys in the saw shop are very knowledgeable and can bring just about any small engine back to life.If you’re building a hot rod or a custom motorcycle, the store has a big selection of chrome nuts and bolts of different types. Also this place should be your first stop for plumbing supplies and home repair materials.

Terrible business. I walked in the door asked if I could get some help before he would even let me finish speaking. He attacked me over my certified service dog. Telling me to take the dog outside didn’t even ask me if he was a service dog before he told me to take it outside. I had the dogs badge and everything. Definitely is not like an old hometown business.
