I went today to drop off the equipment and I asked nicely if my temperature can be taken on my hand since I don’t feel comfortable having a scanner on my forehead it feels someone it’s pointing at you with a gun, besides the harm of the infrared lasers that are being used for this matter. I had asked nicely since they are other places that have no problems with it. She rudely raised her voice at me saying this is our store policy we only do it this way here. For what I have read the temperatures can be taken both ways and they accurate. There was no need to be yelled at since I am not a child and I was not refusing to follow the regulations, just so that it could of be done a different way. Even though our temperatures are taken and it shows we don’t have a temperature it doesn’t mean anything. My question is what are us humans turning to? There’s no love or concerns for one another! We should learn to treat others the way we want to be treated. Optimum lost a customer forever

I returned my equipment to the West Nyack location sometime end of September beginning of October. All of a sudden today I received a bill from a collections agency stating that I owe over $900 for not returning my equipment. I called customer service and there is now a ongoing investigation into this matter. This is absolutely ridiculous. I waited on line for 20 minutes with a huge box full of my equipment. The woman behind the counter scanned all my equipment and said that we were all set. Now this! Optimum better get this figured out because its not fair to me to have to pay for someone else’s mistake as well as have my credit ruined by having a collect placed on me. Also, I never received an email, call,text, or letter in the mail from them stating that I never returned my equipment until the collections letter today. Why not reach out sooner? SHAME SHAME SHAME. I will never go back to Optimum again!
