Old Town Beer Exchange was born out of a regular afternoon meeting of friends who love good beer. These friends couldn’t ignore the fact that there was a distinct lack of what we called the quality beer experience within the greater Huntsville, Alabama area and decided to do something about it. As with most great ideas, these friends knew that planning was essential to success. Outside of the funding, store location was key. It took almost a year for just the right place to become available but once it did, the rest of the plan began to fall into place. Our goals for OTBX are rooted in our collective ideals about what craft means at its core.

We stopped in here in a Friday night. Good beer selection. The staff was very friendly and helpful. It had a great vibe and I would recommend checking it out.

Great beer and great folks. But please update your opening times on your door. Came by at 11:30 Saturday to fill growlers for the weekend and you were closed in spite of your door sign saying you open at 11:00. We don’t all check the internet for updates when we try to do what we’ve done before. 🙁
