Numerous stores that sold almost the same souvenirs. Fot me the sidewalk was a little dirty and smelly. Nevertheless my hubby liked to go there

What a lovely place to visit! The sound of the marina, the boats in the harbor, the businesses all that have been maintained on the Wharf itself. You can easily spend an afternoon walking amongst its shops, visit one of the fun candy shops, or booking a sightseeing cruise, whale watching trip or having a delicious meal in one of its many ocean view restaurants. There were many sea food options of course, many of which boasted to have some amazing Clam Chowder in what appeared to be some fantastic bread bowls. There even appeared to be some great Turf options to go with that surf. The street vendors, street performers and over all look at the place just feels like the past and it seems like a simpler time. The architecture of the surrounding buildings, all the rest of the sights to see, I say this is a well spent afternoon for sure!

This wonderful Wharf is well worth a visit. There are a number of great restaurants, shops, stores, and boat tour opportunities. It’s a great place to stroll and take in the magnificent harbor and bay views. There are plenty of chances to view sea life, seals, sea otters, and birds. The restaurants specialize in seafood but offer a wide variety of menu choices. There are a number of specialty stores and shops including several sweet shops. The dining experience is enhanced by the great views of the harbor and bay. It’s a real working wharf and it’s fun to watch all of the boating activities. There are a number of other attractions near the Wharf so make sure and budget enough time. Don’t miss this jewel of an attraction.

It’s definitely no comparison to the Wharf in SF, but what’s cool about this place is it’s vintage vibe, the Old classic Monterey. The upkeep of this place is well maintained. Tons of restaurants to choose from, so if your hungry you can’t go wrong with any of the choices. At night the seals will entertain you.
