I just left this location. My friend and I were shopping in the store and as soon as my friend (of a different race) were separated to look at different items, I started being followed as I was shopping. My friend was not. I am extremely offended by the silent yet OBVIOUS accusations. I go to work everyday to buy the things I want. The prejudice of the situation is beyond unacceptable. Do better.

Was reminded to buy stuff at Amazon and not to go to store. One customer ahead of me and already a loooong wait

Absolute and thoroughly consistent NIGHTMARE! I am currently on hold with Corporate over a planner re-fill… Called the Texarkana store and was told to please hold for the Manager… for over 20 minutes. Called back multiple times afterwards only to go DIRECTLY to hold.So after multiple calls to the store I decide to wake-up Corporate over an item with a value of <$100.00. Called multiple times and pressed 7 to speak to an agent, only to get thank - you for calling...goodbye. About 6-7 times over.I now reside (5) hours from the Texarkana store'...in case anyone is wondering.Sooooo, I look for a Customer Service line to call. I found a Customer Service line and spoke to a rep for about 30 minute at which time I was put on hold while she contacted the store directly. (I told her good luck with that). On hold another 30 minutes and I terminated the call as I had a Zoom meeting. After the meeting I called the store again.....on hold, again. So I try the Customer Service line again. Had to explain the issue MULTIPLE times to a rep that I am fairly confident STILL doesn't understand...Asked to speak with her Manager...been on hold another 30 or minutes. She comes back and tells me that the Manager is busy....3 times. I assured her she can put me on hold as I will most certainly be here waiting. So now I am sitting in Purchasing so they can hear this as well...NOW she wants a copy of the receipt...from December 2020 when people typically buy these types of items for the coming year 2021. Don't have it, but I did offer to photograph what I was sold and send to everyone just short of Joe Biden. She wants me to get the receipt and then call them back and we can go forward. (Homework assignment). And at the end of the day, this is all my fault...after (2) abhorrent quality desks, (4) horrible or mis-pulled chairs and God only know how many defective copiers and electronics all purchased at the Texarkana store: I chose to return for immediate purchase and price. So in the end, this is all on me.As God is my witness, anyone who does business with Office Depot or any of their subsidiaries, (ESPECIALLY the TEXARKANA store), deserves what they get. Including and apparently including me as well.Possibly if someone at the Texarkana store was as concerned with answering the phone as they obviously are with generating poor attitudes, selling low-quality products at maximum costs and lining the parking lot with cigarette butts, this could all be averted.Still on hold...THIS particular Customer Service call is now 1:07:57 long. Still no Manager. (I suppose that I could write my complaint in Crayon and mail it to Texarkana or Boca Raton, and make arrangements to have someone there to read it to them).(1:37:12) - Headed to the local Office Depot now to get the name of the Regional Manager. This Company and their employees are horrible, Be warned...(31-March-2021) - UPDATE:After more than (18) individual calls and more than (4) hours on hold collectively....More lies, More (unfulfilled) promises and more outright disregard.Office Depot should thank God that AT&T exists for no other reason than keeping them from being the singular worst company in all of human history.Check your e-mail...Chloe. :(
