Nostalgic Books and Comics is your neighborhood comic shop for new and vintage comic books, graphic novels, action figures, Funko Pops, collectibles, and more! Located in the San Gabriel Village, we host various regular events which include creator signings, art shows, toy drives, and our annual Free Comic Book Day event! In working directly with the City of San Gabriel, we partner in organizing the annual FairviewCon, a summer comic and art street event located right in front of our store. Filled with local and independent artist, creators, and makers, this brings a bit of a comic con feel to the surrounding community.

This place is super awesome. It’s welcoming and the people here have amazing customer service skills. They’re super chill and helpful. They’re kind, patient and understanding. I highly recommend this shop if you are a comic book lover and want to expand your knowledge of beloved characters and worlds or if you don’t know the first thing about comic books but want to start. They’re love and knowledge of comics allow them to share amazing stories with their costumers. Did I mention they’re recommendations are definitely spot on? Because they’re are. 10/10 am definitely recommending this comic shop!!

Asked about a comic a few days in advance they said they’d have the book available on Wednesday. So I go on Wednesday right when they open and they say the book sold out. The service was very nice though.
