Nordstrom has always.been the gold standard in dept stores. I haven’t been to this one in quite a while. And I was pleasantly surprised to see the Nordstrom touch still evident – good stocking, bright, clean, places to sit and relax (or be parked if you’re a husband), open space, inventive displays . . . really just great.Browsing a couple departments, I was asked if I needed help. When I said I was just browsing – ok, let me know, etc. Pleasant, attentive, not pushy. I see a lot of neg reviews regarding staff . . . blame it on parents and society more than a merchantThe express set up on the first floor was pretty cool. Looked efficient. Liked the display of gift cards – grab and go if you just want a quick-in-quick-out.They validate, too! I don’t go to malls much, because of the parking charges. Ultimate rip-off. Nordstrom now makes it easy! There is a DIY machine at the express location
