Temper your expectations. I had the Omakase and it filled with some high notes. The first few dishes were great with sushi and veggies. But when it came to the cooked fish it was disappointing due to it being dry. The next disappointment was the waygu where they drenched it in a sweet sauce that overpowered the meat. Overall you come here for the atmosphere and the drinks.

Beautiful location and fantastic restaurant. extremely busy place with excellent service. The waiters were very friendly and gave us great recommendations on drinks n food. Tried the spicy sashimi immersed in a special sauce which was delicious and the fried okra was crispy n tasty. Their Drinks were top notch as well. I would Definitely recommend this place if you looking for Japanese treat by the ocean.

I guess here in Nobu Malibu you’re pretty much paying for the view/atmosphere.The food Is just okay. I mean It’s good! But,I still prefer the freshness, the quality and the taste of foods at Nobu Tokyo 🙂 Dog-friendly
