Best to bring food along in case there is a 2 hour wait for meals.

I’ve been visiting the Falls since my childhood and it is always a breathtaking view. Keep in mind that with new Covid guidelines ma y people are not wearing masks and they do not verify who is an is not vaccinated. The crowds were large so if you have a vulnerable immune system, are not vaccinated or have been actively been quarantined to avoid exposure… probably not the place to visit for now. Other than that, the park was clean, bathrooms were open and well maintained, tours are open and it was a beautiful family day.

Visited back in 2006 and the experience has not changed much. A lot of the stores are closed due to covid, but the attractions that actually matter are still open. The waterfall is amazing. Back in 06 I was a kid amazed at the scale and strength of the water. I’m in my early twenties and I felt those emotions again now with even more perspective. A truly amazing and humbling place.

SO MUCH BETTER THAN THE CANADIAN SIDE, first time I’ve been to this side and it’s such a short walk to Goat Island where you literally get to stand right on top of the falls. Never had I felt so tiny and felt the true power of the Falls. There’s footpaths but also closer parking if you don’t wish to walk from here. I would park next to the Cave of the Winds but maybe you’d have to pay. There’s the cutest $3 trolley, takes you through the park and back. Definitely recommended!
